Questions and their Answers

How would you answer this one.. rather how would you like to answer this one?

"If I asked you to come home with me tonight, would your answer be the same as the answer to this question ?"

Whatever your answer, just don't read the question twice... :)

Navjot - you sure to get confused looks with this question man.. and an affirmation too :P

The looks don't bother me. On the other hand, if they ask you to explain it - you can't escape being labelled as a geek if you have to explaining this one ...

@Aditya smart aren't you. But if you didn't get a chance to read the question twice or may be listen to it slow, your answer would not be same as your comment.. try it ! :)

You're quick at responding to comments aren't you

To be fair, I've encountered such questions before- these are self-referential paradoxes. The first time I came across such a paradox was with this question-

"I will reveal to you all the secrets of the universe if you can truthfully answer one question: Is the next word you're going to say "no"?"

What you're looking for is an answer with a consistent truth value, which is not possible. So I simply assigned it an inconsistent one :D
